As I was talking to my friends from high school, there were many inquiries about our children. So here they are! These are our girls. They are 21 months apart, so they play together like Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the Cat in the Hat. Our older one, Emma, is a bright and intense child who wants to take care of everybody. Lydia is more relaxed, so can be happy reading books by herself in the crib. Both of them understand English and Japanese but mostly speak in English. I guess speaking Japanese is harder because Japanese excercises. I'm hoping that they will start speaking more Japanese when we go to Japan next month!来月高校の同窓会があるので友達と久しぶりに話していると、結構子供たちの事を聞かれたのでご紹介します。彼女たちはたったの２１ヶ月離れなので、とてもよく一緒に遊びます。上の子、エマは自分が何をどうしたいかしっかり決まっている子で、赤ちゃんや人のお世話が大好きです。下の子、リディア（リンリン）は結構融通が利く、一人で本を読むような静かな子です。どちらも英語と日本語を理解しますが、返ってくるのはほとんど英語です。日本語は活用するので話しづらいんでしょうねぇ。来月日本に行ったらもっと日本語を話してくれるかな、と期待してまーす。
