３日目 3rd Day 教会 Church

日曜日なので近くの教会にでも行って来ようかと思っていたのですが、子供たちが朝のお散歩とお風呂のあと寝ちゃって１時間遅れてしまいました。２月にも行ってあるので顔見知りの人とまた再会することになりました。エマとリディアは年が近い子とおもちゃで遊んでもらい、エマは歌やゲームにも参加してかなり楽しかったようです。ここですんごくホンワカした女子高生に「お子さん日本人と違う血が入ってますよね」と聞かれたので「はい、アメリカです」と答えると「じゃあお二人ともアメリカ人なんですよね」と私のほうを差して言うので「エ？」と止まっているとお友達に「この人めっちゃ日本人で日本語ぺらぺらやんか～、それぐらい分かりーやぁ」と突っ込まれてました（笑）よく韓国人と間違われますが、アメリカ人と思われるのはこれが初めて＾＾教会のあとはおじいちゃんが風船を持って迎えに来てくれて大喜びでした。

We were late to church for 1 hour because children fell asleep after the morning walk and bath. But it was fun to be reunited with the people we met in February. Emma sang songs and played games in older Nursery and Primary. Lydia went to younger Nursery with another same age girl. In this room, a high school girl asked me if Emma and Lydia had a different blood other than Japanese. I said, "Yes, it is American." Then she said, "Then you two are also American, aren't you?" "(silence)....Ha?" Then her friend corrected her, "She looks like Japanese and she is speaking fluent Japanese. Where do you get that idea???" I often get mistaken with Korean people and I admit but it was the first time to be mistaken with American people :)
この午後はまた本を読んで夜は母の買い物について行って私たちが食べたいものを沢山買ってもらいました＾＾ヤキマで手に入らないものというと沢山ありますが、この日買ってもらったのは小魚、納豆、おいしい菓子パン、野菜のはんぺん、焼きプリン（普通のプリンならある）、ふりかけ等です。２時間離れたシアトルまで行けばありますが輸入費がついて割高になっているのであんまり買う気がしないのが本音。

We read more in the afternoon and went grocery shopping with my mom at night (forgot it was Sunday!). We bought small fish, fermented soy beans, delicious pastries, fried vegetables, baked flan and rice seasonings. These things can be found in Seattle, but they are more expensive imported, so I like getting them in Japan :)

帰ってからはレナちゃんと姉と母とビーズで食卓を囲んでブレスレット作りをしました。１列の簡単なものですが持ち方が慣れない私は２回も落としてしまいました。２回目はさすがにみんなもあきれてサムーイ風が吹いたのですが、エマがとっさに「私が拾ってあげる！心配しないで、ママ！」と拾ってくれました。私はいい子を持ったもんじゃ（笑）

After we got back, we made bracelets with Rena, my mom and sister. It was a very simle one but I wasn't used to holding the thread with beads, so I dropped the whole thing twice. The second time, everybody looked at me like, "What are we gonna do with this woman..." But Emma immediately said, "I'll pick them up for ya. Don't worry, Mama!" and picked them up. I have such a wonderful girl :)
